Dr. Prescott was a member of the final PCCM fellowship class recruited by Dr. Towes before his passing in 2011. She aims to carry on his legacy and mentor the next generation of physician‑scientists.
Appointed to the Kutsche Memorial Research Professorship in Internal Medicine
Dr. Heisler will help develop large‑scale research programs that seek to better treat cardio‑metabolic disorders in primary care, and support young clinicians to apply their talents to a career in primary care.

Dr. Viglianti is recognized for her work in understanding the evolution of persistent critical illness and long ICU hospitalizations and supporting vulnerable populations during prolonged hospitalizations.

This national committee is one of the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) research bases and helps to promote cancer care delivery and clinical trials.
